DL Sofa Sdn. Bhd. is incorporated on 20 September 1996. No business activity is done due to economy downturn in domestic market. The founder: Mr. Choon Yaw Kim, at that time is running a small production company (sole proprietary ship) and a trading company. They were exposed to foreign market as devaluation on RM has favor export market. Hence, the founder decided to combine both production base and marketing arm under one roof. Therefore, this idea has lead to the new life to this company, namely DL Sofa Sdn. Bhd.

The Management

The previous companies were run by both Mr. Choon Yaw Kim and his wife Madam Yuen Pong Tai. In view of the current trend and the intense competition among local producer, Mr. Choon has recruited more professionals either in administration, marketing as well as production to enhance its products quality and competitive edge.

The Products

Most of the products are initially develop by the master craftsman before goes for mass production. New products are tested and developed until it can satisfy both the founder and the master craftsman.

The Prices

The RM pegs at 3.8 against USD favor export definitely. Most of the buyers are seeking products at medium range i.e. from USD500 - USD1500 per set. Therefore, most of our products are targeted at this range of price.

The Market

Currently, we have successfully exported to Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and African country. We are targeting the US & Europe market and already have the first trial order from them recently during the MIFF this year.
